(I posted this here cuz Alex's followers are hostile and all over the cartoon community) If you are in or support the animation industry/community, you probably know who this guy is. This is about the creator of gravity falls, Alex Hirsch. Me and my friend are raising awareness about the purged users mixed with his questionable past associations (i.e. Justin Roiland look up what happened with Justin) and some other factors regarding what has happened with the now lost users. (I would like to focus on the lost users) most young female GF fans who have interacted with Hirsch in the past have now either purged their accounts or deleted them all together my friend who made this clapper video that I linked (which is also on Tumblr) has looked into the history of Alex's past fan interactions, unfortunately she found that 90% have vanished from social media without a trace. (I will not be naming any cuz I don't want to doxx anyone) And Alex's supporters are super toxic, and they have reported this video many times! Me and my friend have also dealt with numerous insults from them! (My friend was called the (transphobic) T slur twice over DMs with 2 of Alex's supporters but I digress) Alex also had creepy messaging in gravity falls and she decided to connect the dots here. Numerous animators also had faced criminal allegations of being creeps (for example, john k, his friend mentioned above, Kyle Carozza of mighty magiswords in summer 2024, Julia Vickerman, etc.) He also at one point went on an unhinged twitter rant saying he wanted to kill whoever invented the word "bae" and has made no apology at all. He went completely silent on social media (at least, to my knowledge) after I talked to him about the lost fans he interacted with in the past, he did not seem to run off to any of his other platforms either. He is supposed to intend an event in 2 days according to what I've found. He also has Jason Ritter and Kristen Schaal (the voices of dipper and mabel) They do not seem to be used to seeing anything but praise for Alex themselves. All of this is because he has a halo effect around him! This was caused by conservatives attacking him over LGBTQ+ representation, and now any mention of the purged users gets swarmed! What do you think of this? Let me know in the comments thank you.
