Unable to Amend T4s/System Maintenance

My employer is attempting to amend a T4 and encountering a 'system maintenance' error. I'm not sure how accurate the CRA chatbot is, but it says system maintenance won't begin until Jan 9.

Does anyone have insight into this?

Also wondering what the general timeframe is for CRA to process an amendment and show it online after filing.
