Nervous but really want this to work

Years ago I was on Concerta and that worked amazingly for years and then gave me really intense anxiety seemingly out of nowhere.

I went years unmedicated and I'm now in a new job where medication has felt much more necessary. My doctor has prescribed me vyvanse and I'm just waiting to pick it up from the pharmacy.

I've been struggling so much with brain fog, low confidence at work, feeling stupid, inability to get things done. I really, really want this to work and not give me horrible anxiety. Can I hear some success stories?
