Violence erupted in Old Delhi early Wednesday during a pre-dawn MCD demolition drive near Faiz-e-Ilahi mosque. Protesters pelted stones, injuring 5 cops. Police fired tear gas and detained 5-10 people. MCD says the drive to clear 100-year-old encroachments follows a Delhi High Court order.
