Luffy will Randomly Explode in the future. (semi serious joke theory?)

So I'm gonna preface this that I don't personally take this theory TOO seriously. At most, its a decently

gonna do this as bullet points just to make it easier.

-The Apple that Luffy ate that Doc Q Gave him wasn't a dud.

-Doc's Q's apples weren't "explosives" in the way that you think.

-They were infected with a disease from Doc Q's Devil fruit that "makes you explode"

-Because its a DF effect. it's possible its on a trigger that Doc Q can set off whenever he wants rather than it just doing its own thing. (the diseases he can seemingly make likely have very few real limits as shown by him turning the Hearts all female, so a bomb on a trigger is hardly a stretch)

-Luffy was targeted specifically, they were on Jaya for him in the first place. (BB was gonna capture Luffy and turn him in for the warlord position, when that fell though because they escaped, he used Ace instead)

-BB didn't have Doc Q set it off immediately because it didn't really matter anymore after they got away, and its a much better card to play later on when it matters more. which fits the way BB operates.

-Luffy basically has a bomb inside him that BB can trigger whenever he wants too.

-It wouldn't be the first time that someone's food was spiked with explosives. (Dorry's Alcohol in Little Garden courtesy of Mr.3)

if this ends up being true. i can see it turning out one of two ways.

Or a more serious scenario where Luffy ends up like Dorry did and it effects a crucial moment in Blackbeard's favor.
