I really hope season 6 is better.

Not gonna lie 5.5 hasn’t been good, I didn’t even hate season 5. But something has just gotten awful it feels like in comparison to previous seasons. Ranked was never perfect but something is just absolutely foul currently. I mostly play tank but I don’t really have the patience for it currently between having to solo tank and the way the tank tax works. I like tanking but the game just seems to give no incentive for people to actually wanna play it and it’s burnt me out of the role for now.

Feels like a combination of just balance, players and the quality of matches. What really made me just stop and wait until next week ultimately was the fact I had a Widow throw the game because they demanded a Mantis pocket and said they’d throw if they didn’t get one. I stuck to playing Gambit and my other support wasn’t going to swap for the Widow either. So the first round was them jumping off the map until we surrendered. At that point I just put the controller down and decided I’ll just play Elden Ring or something and see what the devs are going to do for S6. The game has never been perfect and I’ve always been able to adapt to whatever the game is but this is a first for me.
