Five Day Pay or Quit Notice in VA- How to avoid eviction?

I got a five day pay or quit notice, which is of course deserved as I missed my rent date. My job hasn’t paid me for the first pay period. I’m able to pay some but not the full amount of rent.

The end of the five day period is the 11th, but I won’t have the money until the 15th. I’ve just now communicated this to my landlord and haven’t heard back.

What are my options to avoid eviction? Am I cooked?
