Currently taking antibiotics for a suspected kidney infection. Low blood pressure and feeling off, will the antibiotics help me?

Two nights ago I started having more frequent urination than usual (for the past few months I’ve had it) it was so bad I was going multiple times under an hour. The same day/night I started having bad frequent urination I kept waking up with chills and shivering feeling off a few times, the following day I went to my primary doctor to which he told me he found bacteria in my urine months ago.

I genuinely had no idea about this, and have been feeling off for months, with frequent urination and more frequently back pain. He prescribed antibiotics, Ciprofloxacin 500mg. The same time I went to the super market and started experiencing really bad back pain in the middle/lower body that’s on and off, I’ve never felt this before ever, I’m confused on whether it could be because of the infection or because it happened when I went to pick up a pack of water and has been almost unbearable on and off since, it comes and goes so I can somewhat handle it atm.

Earlier today I noticed my bp was 117/61 which is way lower than it usually is for me so I started to panic, but then it went up a bit. Is it possible that it’s gotten worse or will the antibiotics help me??
