Different Versions of You

A cruel disease. Taking you from me a little at a time. With each new version of you I adapt to what has been lost. When will you no longer remember me at all? How do I survive such a thing? I promise to never forget the man I fell in love with. The brilliant, funny, strong, caring, selfless, amazing man. I will share those memories with everyone important to us. The miracle wasn’t that I met you, or that I fell in love with you (effortlessly). The miracle will always be that you fell in love with me back.
