Went for a shuttle drive and accidently saw my ex dating someone else. AITA?

So I'm the commander of a mid range exploration vessel. We hang just on the edge of federation space. Occasionally making cargo runs, and checking out stuff that Starfleet can't be too arsed to send a science ship all the way out here.

We had some down time, and I felt like taking the shuttle out for a drive, so I ordered our helmsman to come to an all stop at the visual range edge of a nebula. It was pretty.

So here I am, taking the shuttle out to admire the scenery when totally by coincidence, I puttered along the window of my ex... Making our with the ship's schoolteacher.

That was awkward and I flew on away as fast as I could.

Well, I was caught. She came in my office in a rage, screaming that I did a drive-by, stalking her and all that.
