Just got the game and need some early-ish build assistance.

Going Chaosweaver into Pyromancer, but as far as gear goes, all my vendors are 4-6, and have completed all bosses and explored as much as I can up to my first Entropy rift.

Now with that out of the way, I'm finding my next issue to be gear itself, rings, weapon and outfit.

I'm currently wearing the Briar Outfit with a sword and just basic rings. What weapon should I be looking for or what stats should I be prioritizing, what rings should I look for and should I upgrade my gear into the next set that the tailor lady gives?

I tried finding early guides but no luck and was trying to go blind but I'm finding my results diminishing the more I struggle through.
