Is it worth it to even bother trying to get into accounting without a college degree?

I’m not looking to make six figures. My local community colleges have some decent looking certification programs, should I go for it and get in somewhere entry level and work up to a mid level position (if that’s even possible without a full degree)? Or would I be completely wasting my time?

I really don’t know what else to do with my life at this point so I hope I get optimistic answers
