Outback suitable for intermediate now? And what about cross trail to East?

Outback was listed as expert only till yday 1/7) with additional snow is it suitable for intermediate now? I am comfortable on golden nugget and would like to try other long trails.

Is crossover to Summit East open? It don't see any info in trail status for it.
