Surface Pro (original) worth selling or bin it?

Howdy all,

I've got an old Surface Pro hanging around. It still works but doesn't get used and can't be updated to Win11.

I'm in a decluttering mode. What's the best way to get rid of it safely and without hassle?

As an integrated device that will sell for peanuts (if it sells at all), I am cautious of selling it as I don't feel I can securely wipe the drive. But if I rip it apart, it's possible I could remove the drive, and either physically destroy it or use it as an external. Or am I being paranoid about security risk and a factory reset these days is adequate?

I'd rather not add to ewaste, but it's just not getting used.
