[Profile Review] Please help review my profile for Fall’27.

Hi, I am planning on applying for masters in Fall’27. Primary goal is to pivot to move to US and work for a few years.

GPA: 8.28/10 ( Tier-1 BITS )

GRE: 333 ( second attempt )

Work Experience: Currently SWE at Google ( 2 years of experience by the time i start masters and one year at time of application )

6 Months SDE Intern at Amazon

2 Month SWE Intern at Microsoft

Publications: Have my undergrad thesis published in Nature Scientific ( a Q1 Journal ). Possibly one more paper can be published by time of application.

Also have research experience at CEERI from undergrad.

LOR: Can get one strong Acadmeic LOR from the professor I published my thesis with and two strong LORs from any of my managers I’ve worked under. I can try for one more academic LOR but it will not be as strong imo.

Given that my GPA isn’t that high, is there anything that can be done to offset it. I mostly want to target decent schools ( Georgia Tech, UMass, UCSD etc) as some other schools I really want to get into ( UIUC, CMU etc ) seem out of reach for my GPA. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.
