LeafGreen Help!

I beat Blue at the S.S. Anne, and I should've gotten my HM01 (Cut), but I don't think I did, because I don't think it's in my Bag. The Vermillion Gym needs Cut to access, so now I'm stuck. Is there a fix for this? Or I have to start a new save file?
