Oscillating expression pedal on fuzz?

I have a Devi Ever Hyperion and I want to add an oscillation knob but thought it might be cooler to control the oscillation with an expression pedal. Has anyone done something like this? Is it worth the squeeze or what? I have an extra volume pedal I can donate for parts. I’m pretty new to this stuff but I’m willing to give a shot. My soldering is pretty decent from building drones but I haven’t done a pedal yet.
