How does the deck feel?
This deck at the beginning of ATLA release felt Tier 0. Versions of this list ran through me multiple times on the ladder on Day 1 and 2 of the new set so I decided to build it and give it a try. Now moving into the new year, this deck is a 'High Tier 2-Low Tier 1 Deck'. Hard to pilot to its maximum potential.
This tempo-y midrange deck can handle any aggro deck. Does surprisingly well against every control deck except for the Golgari Exile/Dragon Control-y deck. You have to play against ever midrange deck very differently which means they are mostly skill matchups. Even though this deck really struggles against combo decks, it still can beat them. The spreadsheet was made after the surge of landfall/icetill decks but this deck struggles against that one as well.
I am aware that the current Dimir Bounce lists are running Quantum Riddler, Thundertrap, and Splash Portal. I have not gotten the chance to experiment with this list yet, but I still feel very confident in this list in general. I feel confident that my list is WAY better than the current Dimir Midrange decks. I played Dimir Midrange more than I did this decklist and know from experience that this deck is better.
Best Matchups: Boros Arabella, 4C Azula Control, UW Control, Dimir Midrange.
Worst Matchups: Golgari Exile, Sultai Reanimator, Bant Aang
I would love to answer any questions one may have about this decklist! Enjoy!
