How come I have access to DLSS 4.5 Preset M if I haven't installed the latest drivers yet?

Dumb noobie question here.

I haven't installed the latest DLSS 4.5 drivers and yet when I loaded up Cronos yesterday, it said I was using Preset M. I am using Nvidia Inspector so I'm assuming that's the reason? Nvidia Inspector auto-updated?

I knew something had changed because suddenly the game appeared way over-sharpened compared to preset K.

FYI: I'm using a DLSS indicator registry key mod. That's how I confirmed it did indeed swap to Preset M.
