In November I completely lost vision in my left eye for about 7-8 mins after coughing randomly. 

Little back history- I have a past history of migraines and used to get migraines with auras but have not had them in years. I have lost vision for at most 30 seconds to a min in my young twenties from my left eye. It always came right back no issues and always happened with a migraine.

This time when I lost vision I saw floaters first and then lost full vision in my left eye for about 7-8 mins. When it came back it looked like static tv and had a blue hue. About two weeks past and I randomly blow my nose and the attached picture comes out of my nose. It did not squish when I tried to press it together it was soft and bounced back to shape and was bigger than a nickle I would say. Yesterday I went to the eye doctor and they told me they believe the two incidents are connected and put an emergency referral in for me to see a neuro eye specialist who is seeing me tomorrow. The eye doctor is also thinking it could be connected to a fall I had in 2018 when I knocked my head open and had to have 8 staples. Any thoughts or ideas? I mentioned all those to my primary and was brushed off and when I showed her the picture was told “I don’t know that’s something you should have probably gone to the er for” I also no longer have the polyp as I didn’t think in the moment to keep it or that it could be serious.
