Chicken problem

I'm having trouble buying chickens. When I try to buy them, the shop shows 0/0 in red, even though I have two coops and only three slots are occupied. For some reason, I can buy cows. 😅 Is anyone else having this problem? I just got a quest that needs chicken eggs... 😱 But it's almost impossible without chickens. 😅
