Commemorative custom champagne flute mementos you're supposed to take home from the wedding reception

Bit Annoyed

"Janet and David 6/28/25 Eternal Love"

As if the couple narcissistically thinks the guests will cherish the memories of this day as much as they will.

We can't use them to serve our own guests at home. They're just thrown in a box in the basement next to the Christmas decorations until we move (or until "Eternal Love" proves less than eternal) whereupon it will be thrown away or thrifted along with the dozen other champagne flutes from the six other weddings of people we temporarily know that we've been to over the last several years and end up on a thrift store shelf along with fraternity Rush, sorority Spring Formal, and family reunion commemorative glassware.

We've started "forgetting" to take them home with us.
