A difference between millennial and gen z culture and why I'm glad I grew up in the millennial
The Millennial era was better for non political pop culture. If you like movies, music, tv, sports, etc. it was a more enjoyable era. It's not really about quality, it's more the vibes people interacting with them. There was less stuff to do so they relied on entertainment more. It was hjiacked by politics less.
The Gen Z era was much more busy politically. There may be a time where people look back and are in some ways think it's cool that gen zers lived through such a historic time period. For people who found stuff like the constant Trump drama, MeToo, BLM, etc. interesting, there was a lot going on.
Yes it's a generalization there are politics in millennial ere and non politics pop culture in Gen Z but that's how I view it.
I personally think Gen Zers grew up in a difficult time and got robbed of some of the enjoyment of Gen X or millennials. There is so much propaganda to deal with and pressure on them warping how they're supposed to think and fit in. I can see people becoming demoralized and inhibited in this era. But I am biased towards my preferences.
