id like some advice on my academics!

for context, im 17, highschool. i’m currently doing pure math, bio and chem as my as level subjects.

so i have exams in may / june and i have the opportunity to be out of the country for the end of february and entirety of march. this is because my mom is already planning on going and thinks that me going might help my motivation to increase a bit (another story.)

the only issue is that my mocks take place during that time. i was advised by the vice principal to message to principal and ask to sit the mocks either before or after i come back. if i did it earlier, it’d be in mid february or around there, so a week or 2 earlier than everyone else takes it (in early march).

i honestly do not know what to do, as much as i would like to go i dont know if its worth all the effort. i think its a good opportunity but im entirely unsure. my vice principal said that she has catered for these things before and it should be okay but its ultimately up to the principal (don’t know what the he would say, he’s new) but i just dont know.
