Pending charges

Hey everyone, I'm new here but I've been lurking for a little while. I've been battling charges for the past ~year and to be succinct, I was charged with a level 2 offense, however the prosecutors case is not airtight.

With a reputable trial attorney I've managed to secure a plea offer for a level 1 charge (indecent exposure) so far. But as trial approaches we don't forsee it getting much better. If anyone would be open to sharing experiences around this (post preliminary hearing) timeframe I'd love to hear.

I'm trying to prepare my mentality for accepting the level 1 charge, which is in itself, a win already. I know each state can be different. Unfortunately my state requires full completion of the sentence (including probation) before the clock starts ticking for the actual registry. But I'd like to ask how life for level 1 is, and if anyone with personal experience can share how much different (if at all) it is vs a level 2. I'm genuinely trying to weigh being a level 1 for ~15-18 years vs a literal 50/50 fence trial. Thank yall again
