[F4A] Spanking and punishment for women

Many earth-shattering discoveries seem obvious in hindsight; the now famous (or infamous depending on whom you ask) series of studies on punishment and motivation were no exception. While corporal punishment had no effect when trialled on a representative sample, it turned out to be extremely effective when applied to women only. As study after study replicated the effect perfectly, the discovery was adopted to guide policy. Many women (and some men) protested, of course… But that did not change the outcome. Legislation and rules of most organisations, be that commercial, public, or non-profit were adopted to allow spanking women, putting them into corner, making them keep their clothes off for a time, putting ginger roots up their bottoms, and so on. Men and women alike could apply these, of course; in fact, the same studies have shown that women make more effective disciplinarians on average.

The system did not always work 100% perfectly and fairly, of course, nothing does. Although an appeals system was in place, many women would at least once in a while choose to take an unfair punishment rather than appeal it as losing the appeal could lead to worse consequences for their behinds and their dignity. Although no discrimination beyond discipline methods was allowed, some women chose not to progress as far in their careers and endeavours as they could have to avoid further scrutiny and attention which could have unwelcome consequences. Although most punishments did not intend further humiliation once they were over, it was still hard to see oneself as truly equal after having been seen naked and crying.

My workplace changed no more than most, I suppose, but never having been one to purposefully restrain myself or to shy away from necessarily disagreements I have found myself bare- and red-bottomed fairly frequently despite my seemingly privileged position. And although some women have learnt to navigate this new world with relatively little trouble for their bottoms, I know I was far, far from the only one.

I am looking to chat about, worldbuild, and roleplay scenes from a society with the above premise. While proper worldbuilding will inevitably feature numerous characters, my primary character would be a successful and strong woman, who, despite the numerous strength, might not be the best in navigating the system and her bottom ends up paying the price. Some punishments are completely deserved, of course, but others may be less so.
