TurboTax operates within an oligopoly but there's no way it's causing enough harm to society for me to care if a vox media podcast has an ad for them.

It honestly seems a bit crazy to me that so many people here didn't realize that selling to a private digital media giant like Vox means you're going to have to do paid sponsorships.

Atrioc has already talked about having to reject some sponsors that Vox was trying to push onto them, specifically sports gambling and prediction market type ads, so it's obvious they're having to negotiate here and choose the lesser of some evils.
