first timer purchasing advice

I’m looking for something with good bass but not enough to negatively affect other genres. for context, i listen to everything. soul, hip hop, electronic, rock, etc etc. I listen to more electronic than anything so something with good bass would be beneficial, but I don’t want it to be obnoxious when I’m listening to slower more balanced music. I’ve heard Simgot EW300 and Truthear Pure being thrown around often for something like this, would either of those be good options or should I go with something different? i’m using a Surfans F20 and i want to keep it around a $100 limit but i can be swayed.
