Moon shots

We went to the moon 6 times but it was too expensive to continue, according to Google. Did we ever really explore the mineral elements there? With our current technology do you think it might be worth another visit and doing better geological surveys? We might find new elements or something, don’t you think? It’s just funny we never went back recently to fully evaluate it with modern science.
