LSAT scientific sections

In studying to take my lsat for the next cycle and I am consistently scoring -1 on rc passages or 0 on passages EXCEPT for science passages. It doesn’t matter the difficulty of the passage. I am a polisci major and did not take science passed grade 11 biology. I know I do not need science knowledge but the sections stump me because I’m unfamiliar with vocabulary. I heard about a book with 1000 scientific innovations does anyone know the direct name or author of it I’m not sure if I found the right one. And any other advice on things I should do to help me. I’m not planning on writing until June
