Launching on walmart

We’re a brand doing pretty good every a year between Amazon and our own site and are looking at Walmart as the next channel. What I’m wondering is whether other brand owners here have actually seen success launching on Walmart, and if you have any advice on how to do it? A big question we have is it worth hiring an agency to run the entire launch or if we should just do it ourselves.
