Bright white shooting star spotted

I need help identifying what kind of ‘shooting star’ I saw this morning.

For some context I live in the suburbs of Ohio, not far from Columbus to have the night sky completely clear for stars. Only the occasional brightest stars are seen. This morning I was walking to my bus stop at around 6am. I stopped to pet a cat I regularly visit when I looked up and saw the most beautiful shooting star.

It was pure white and super thick, it went across the sky for maybe about the length of a fingernail if you held your hand up from your pov. It was way faster than anything man made and way brighter than a normal ‘shooting star’. It left behind a glittering sparkly white trail before disappearing. I was so shocked I jumped back. The reason I reacted so strongly was because today is my birthday!!! So it felt very special in the moment.

I researched that it could have been a fragmented fireball? It wasn’t going down, only across the sky. Nor did it flash in and out, only one bright light then disappearing. Still, I’d like to get some insight on people who are much more knowledgeable about this kind of stuff than me
