How do people deal with photos and memories after a breakup?

I want to know how people who have been through this handle it.

I was in a two year relationship that ended nine months ago. I have completely lost all feelings for him, I do not love him anymore. Instead, I feel a lot of anger and frustration, and sometimes even hate, which I do not want to feel. The thought of being with him again disgusts me, and I have had dreams where I am forced to be with him. I hate those dreams, and the uncomfortable feeling stays even after I wake up.

The main issue is that my Snapchat and Google Photos are full of pictures and memories with him. I do not know how people delete everything. Those moments are also my memories, so I do not have the heart to erase them, but deleting them would also mean looking at everything again, which I do not want. Do people usually delete everything and act like it never happened? If I ever date someone in the future, those photos might bother them too, so I would probably have to delete them eventually. I do not understand how people deal with this or if moving on means wanting to erase everything.

This was my first relationship, so I genuinely do not know what is normal or how people usually deal with this.
