Is it bad to not feel anything towards toxic family?

I cut off some people in my family due to them being very toxic and not respecting my boundaries. I found our recently that one of them don't have long left to live

I don't really feel anything I gave my condolences but that's about it. I also don't really know them all that well as I've maybe only seen them a handful of times
