I MUST rant about ear piercing and putting in earrings!

For me, it's so ridiculously hard! My ear lobes seem to have double or even triple interior layer that are both needle resistant... and self sealing/repairing. I can pierce the front layer easy simple, but the elastic expanding lobes will self stretch to ridiculous levels to protect the rear neck side of the lobe. IF I get a clean piercing all the way through... not even stud earrings can find a pathway through out to the back, despite endless adjusting and wiggling. So I repierce that hole... no change! After the fifth time, maybe I've created enough of a wound channel to run a earring into... but it's not fun!

This has been 10x worse than either piercing my nipples or naval.
