Mod to change ground scanner from being tied to research speed

So I've really been enjoying playing on super slow research speeds. It makes every tech unlocked mean so much more and I actually use plate armor now.

The issue is once I get the ground penetrating scanner it takes upwards of 20 days to find a single deposit.

It appears to me having research speed set to extremely slow nerfs the scanner heavily.

An option to either untie the scanner from research speed or something that multiples the required amount of research for techs by 10 or 20x would be fantastic if it doesn't affect the scanners.
