Heroes are more balanced and easier to deal with than evos because the actually cost elixir within the match.

In a same skill level, same card lvl match, if one has evos and the other doesn't it makes all the difference. And there is no extra cost, you just play it and suddenly the megaknight can just throw around my win condition every other cycle.

With heroes you can actually expect the abilities and know how much it will cost your opponent. Are they broken rn, yes. But still the base card is the same and there is an elixir tradeoff involved. Like with the mini pekka I have activated the ability many times just for it to die immediately with no payoff and loosing 1 elixir.

Are they trying to make money? Of course I mean how do you want them to pay for servers, databases, developers, designers, etc... and also let you play for free?

But evos are more "pay to win" than heroes.

And lvl 16 is much better that what lvl 15 was. It is much faster to reach it and it gives a lot of players that were already maxxed out a reason to participate in other game dynamics like clan wars or events.

Heroes are better than Evos and lvl is what will keep the game alive
