Popcorn ceiling cracks

This is my first time in this subreddit. I’m not sure if this has already been answered but I currently have a growing hole on the ceiling in my bedrooom. The popcorn ceiling has been chipping for the past couple of months. Can playing drums cause this? I’ve also had this random mildew outbreak on the wall I sleep at as well as on the ceiling near hole. I’m not sure which is causing it. Thanks 🙏
