It is impossible for me to win a match of domination

I’ve been trying to unlock the domination unit skins since the games release. In that time I’ve played countless games of domination. I have to this day only won 2 matches of domination since October. I’m consistently at the top of the leaderboard often with the most captures. Idk what else to do though, it feels like I’m being punished for trying my best. Either we get completely curb-stomped from the get-go, or it’s a close match the whole time until the end when they pull ahead. But o can’t win no matter what. Is there some sort of matchmaking where I get put with weaker players to “balance” it out?
