Fiction Books About People with Day to Day Issues

One of my favorite authors is Richard Yates. I’ve read all of his stuff, and looking for more fiction books about just everyday people living family life and struggling with various common day to day issues.

I’ve liked the Run, Rabbit series in this regard as well. Any suggestions?
