Questions for Carryall MM in Leather users please

I saw the monogram version in store and fell in love with the shape, straps, and overall look of this bag but then discovered the leather option and fell even harder (mainly for the zipper).

The leather options are not available yet where I live so for those who have them, may I please know:

- Does it get quite heavy with a laptop inside? I don't carrry a lot daily but this is going to be my work bag and will carry my laptop + small wallet and occasionally a small umbrella

- I already have a black bag and leaning towards the gray/beige due to that reason. Any pros and cons for that colour?

Any other advice for or against this bag much appreciated. I have an On The Go GM and it's too heavy / unwieldy for me although gorgeous so looking for an alternative.
