How to avoid wrapping behind my back during the backswing?
I've been bowling seriously for a little over a year now. Currently averaging around 163 in league.
I've been struggling w/ consistency on my spares, and I attribute a lot of this to the ball wrapping behind my body during the backswing.
I've watched most of the content on the topic on youtube (jr raymond, kr strikeforce), but I feel like I'm still missing some detail.
Here is my typical shot: https://streamable.com/8s1pvi
Greatly exaggerated pushaway to the left: https://streamable.com/16v0dp
The backswing looks much better when I exaggerated the pushaway to the left, but when I watch good bowlers they have a more natural looking pushaway straight ahead.
Should I just keep drilling the exaggerated pushaway or is there some other detail I should try tweaking/drilling first?
Appreciate the help!
