“When the war came, I did bad things, but after the war, I thought nothing of the things I had done. I killed people, smuggled people... sold people.”

A soft exhale produced a cloud of smoke with just the barest hint of lilac in it. Midnight colored lips holding the cigarette twitched for a moment before a pair of fingers withdrew it.

“A priest once asked me if I would like to repent, to confess my sins before God. Perhaps I was tempted then, but I knew as I know now - for some people, there is no redemption, no salvation. We live, and we die. Fuck it.”

Standing up, Svetlana withdrew the revolver she had tucked in her pants and pointed it squarely at the head of the man kneeling before her. Beat up, bleeding, blindfolded, and gagged. Perhaps the girl she once was would have pitied the man, but now there were no emotions left. None visible at least. Letting her finger caress the trigger, she allowed herself one last:

“Goodbye, *bratan*.”

The echo of the trigger-pull left a nasty ringing in Svetlana’s ears for quite a while. A good thing too. Something else to focus on rather than the wall she had just painted red with the blood of her ‘ticket’. One last kill before she got on that plane on her way to that golden land across the ocean...to the United States. A new life, far away from the death and misery of the old.

“You late on rent!”

That was a voice that Sveta always dreaded hearing in the evenings when coming home from work. She had met a lot of bad men during the war. Rude, awful, and sadistic men, yet they no longer terrified her. But this little Chinese landlady was in a league of her own. A total *cyka*...but Sveta knew they were alike. Just trying to survive and achieve that dream, the same as millions of others in this ‘golden land’.

“I paid you last week!” responded Svetalana, still dressed in her work clothes - an overly-tight, tucked-in white shirt with the club’s logo on the front and back, and the black pants were no better, pocketless and squeezing around the waist. It was no wonder since the club only accepted girls who met certain beauty criteria, given that it attracted a mostly male clientelle. It was not a job Sveta wanted, but the only one she could get. The pay was far from great, but at least it didn’t put her out on the street.

“That was fo’ last month! You no pay in time again and you gon’. *Cào nǐ mā*...”

As the little landlady scurried off, yelling something to her half a dozen family members downstairs in Chinese, Sveta was left shaking her head and rubbing her forehead. Perhaps her meager pay was going to land her on the streets after all. She had checked around, and there would be no place cheaper than this. There was only one solution - make more money. She was already pulling double shifts, so taking on more wasn’t an option. One way out remained. One she was reluctant to look into.

Ever since she came to America, she told herself she would start anew. Live in prosperity and peace. Yet there was neither to be found. If this was the dream that was promised, Sveta would rather wake up. She had been told to see a certain fixer if she ever needed ‘lucrative work’. Someone who could use her talents. And apparently, there was always a need for a soldier like her, even in the land of the free. Svetlana would pick up her phone and wonder:

*“Different country, same shit...”*

I’m sorry if the plot above was more depressing or familiar than you would have liked. I am quite the fan of these kinds of stories. Where everything is not sunshine and rainbows. The struggle is what I live for in stories, and like to incorporate into my characters.

The plot would, of course, be a modern one with no supernatural or fantasy elements. As far as I’m concerned, everyone is a human, realistic, and that’s that. With human strengths and human weaknesses. Another weakness of mine - realism. As a past partner of mine had put it, ‘You’re a slut to realism,’ which I think describes it quite nicely.

Now, where is this plot going, and who would you be playing: that, my dear reader, I would love to discuss with you. I’m a firm believer that if we create two compelling characters, the plot itself grows around them, like vines on a tree. But I do have ideas that would make it easier for you. In my view, having your character be someone from the criminal world/connected to it would be best. Someone who is in need of a cold bitch like Svetlana. Why and for what purpose, that’s also up for discussion. A certain job, hit or protection - everything is on the table. What is clear is that our two characters would have much to gain from one another. Your character can be whoever you want, someone new in ‘the game’, unsure and making a lot of mistakes, or someone who’s been in it for many, many years and knows their way around. Someone who needs Svetlana as a guide to the darker aspect of the human condition, or someone who gets presented with a dozen ‘men’ and sees that only Sveta has the grit and that cold stare to do what needs to be done.

But yes, this is on DPP, so...sexual stuff is of course on the table. I have a reference for Svetalana for those who are interested. If you find her attractive/your type, all the better because I have pretty much set my mind on it this time around and am unlikely to change her looks. Svetlana is bi, so all genders are welcome. As for specifics, kinks and limits, again, the list is available for all who want it. Take a look, give your thoughts, and see for yourself if we’d be a good match. But remember - kinks are not everything. New character - new personality - new kinks. Not all my characters are the same or like the same things, so I might not even push for my favorites, and might even accept things that are not my favorites. Would have to see, depending on the dynamic and the story. And if you have gotten this far, let this be the secret password: do tell in your message what part of Svetlana your character would stare at the most because...we both know it’s gonna happen. She’s a looker, alright...so use your imagination and mention it.

That would be all from me. Do send me a message, but remember - *no russian. (I like dark humor ok shh)*
