base M5 vs base M1pro

I am looking to upgrade my macbook pro 2021 (16gb RAM, 8 core cpu 14 core gpu) and was looking at the base m5 16gb ram macbook pro.

Should I just jump instead to the M4 pro or wait for the M5 pro or is the M5 better than what I have by enough? I do not know where to go to find comparisons specifically between the m5 and the m1pro i have.
