How do I fix a loose mouse wheel?

I recently bought a Logitech mouse from a friend, and the mouse wheel is VERY loose. It doesn't wiggle, but if you scroll down, it keeps spinning for a solid 10 seconds if you let it. Does anyone know how to fix this?
