Easton aliminium max point weight
Hey reddit, Quick question before i go to bed. I have some 1716 arrows cut to 29 inches AMO with screw-in inserts. How much point weight can i add to them before the weight of the point would damage the arrows when shot.
I currently use 125 grains tophats. My arrows have 3" bohning zen vanes I have a 29 inch draw length. My bow is 27# on the fingers and is shooting stiff. The arrows are stiff enough that the decal on the arrow is slowly leaving black flecks on my riser shelf, so contact is being made. I cant really use lighter arrows due to arrow shaft sizes being too small for me. Im not currently able to increase bow poundage so was wondering if 150+ points would work and what would be too much.
Thanks in advance and i will reply when i wake up in the morning.
