Writing slump

I'm absolutely sure this isn't original. I've been in a bit of a slump when it comes to ideas even though I've had great ones. I'm tired of writing a few pages and then throwing it away due to my own critique. What I've done is taken all of my old ideas, fleshed them out a bit and put the most basic version of them onto a slip of paper and put them into a bucket (kill tony style lol). I've given myself the rule for the year that I can only use and expound upon my own old ideas bc I hate leaving things unfinished.
