Ideas for charity based initiatives/events/side events for commander?

Hello r/EDH!

I've recently founded a 501c3 focused on organizing charity based initiatives to raise philanthropic funds for operational charities, we are currently partnered with Children's Cancer Association.

I was hoping to tap the communities wisdom on ideas we could incorporate into the premiere event we are hosting that enables commander play engagement but also generates philanthropic revenue. Hoping to learn what has maybe been done before in the philanthropy space within Magic!

Currently, we have some ideas around:
-On Demand events where part of the ticketing goes directly to charitable donation
-Charity Auction of MTG items (Alters, Playmats, Cards, etc)
-Charitable sponsorship opportunities for businesses, brands, etc

A lot of the current ideas we've generated are a bit generic - wondering if there any great out of the box ideas that we can incorporate into our event!

Does anyone have any great ideas for activities commander plays may engage with to fundraise for charity?
