How easy is it to use japan only digivice

So this is pretty straightforward but i am an American who doesn't speak Japanese and I am interested in the godzilla and monster hunter digivices. I have an English digivice( the x antibodies one) i was wondering is it workable to use either the godzilla or MH digivices with no japanese knowledge and does it have a sleep or freeze feature like the x antibody ones. More interested in the MH one as someone is selling one near me so wondering if I can make it work since would like to actually use it not not just collect dust
