tyranny unfolding?
Greetings everyone, just want all your thoughts and input on the current state of our country. Before you do so, I’d like to share my stance on what recently took place in Minneapolis, regarding Rene Good’s killing.
I used to be republican but it’s been a long disappointment through out the years— like waves eroding away any values I saw in the party. Im Christian and used to think that “well I must be republican” that is until I realized being Christian isn’t about political affiliation. Nor should I base my entire identity on politics. So now here I am, a centrist (who believes in having an immigration process). Yet, I can’t help but feel the full blown fascist emergence. It started with “criminals” now it’s come to shooting citizens in the head. Raiding cities, I’ve even seen multiple videos of people claiming to be US citizens being detained. It seems more often than not that these agents will manipulate situations to fit their tyrannical goals. I understand that lethal force can be used against someone in a vehicle if that said vehicle is headed in your direction, but officers are supposed to be trained to not stand in the path/exit of a vehicle to avoid these situations. It looked to me like he had that previous experience of being dragged ( from what I gather he broke the car window and tried to remove the driver through the window, where the driver floored it and dragged him along). To me this seems like bad decision making. This leads me to suspect that after that incident the stars aligned in which he would manipulate the entire situation to favor him in “self-defense”. To me that agent was going to eventually kill someone no matter what and that was the perfect opportunity for him. He positioned himself in front of the car, recorded her, and had his gun unholstered by the time she was in drive. He could’ve avoided the vehicle, he could’ve shot the tires from the side— but unfortunately I believe he wanted to kill her. There’s no other logical explanation. Why would he stand in front of the vehicle? It was a setup where he would be able to justify his actions. I believe that if she wanted to run someone over she would’ve just done that— she was clearly trying to avoid being arrested. Which may or may not have been legal. Anyways I’ve done enough talking what are your thoughts?
